Since 7 years old, Giorgio Speranza joined the elite junior representative level of football competition between the ages of 11 and 17.

In 2010 at the age of 18 years old, he made his 1st Grade debut with the Marconi Stallions, and has also enjoyed stints with Blacktown City and Rockdale Ilinden as he embarks on his 16th consecutive season in the NSW NPL Men’s 1st Grade competition, playing over 400 matches during this period, and winning every competition available to an NSW NPL Men’s player, including the Premiership, Championship and Cup tournaments. Giorgio also enjoyed two spells at Sydney FC, including playing in the national Youth League competition, as well as an international tournament in Asia.

Giorgio’s primary position is left wing back, where he combines his fierce defensive duties with lung busting overlapping runs in support of the team’s attack, often leading the stats by clocking over 14km per match. Giorgio’s strengths also include a high pass accuracy, neat first and second touch, and an arrow like shot that has netted him many goals over his career.
